Process for raising incidents¶
If you encounter any issues, in any of your test environments, and require assistance from GEL, you will need a TPI Incident, which can be found here
Your issue will be prioritised, and directed to the correct team for resolution.
In addition, there are regular CIP-API "surgery" calls on Friday's at 1pm.
Please contact ge-servicedesk@genomicsengland.co.uk if you need the invite to these calls
CIP-API Environment maintenance¶
During the onboarding process, all connecting parties are advised to register with the Genomics England status page, ensuring you subscribe to the CIP-API component in both the UAT and production sections.
This will ensure you are informed of any outages to those environments. Please note that GEL provides the following notice for outages and key updates around service availability:
- UAT: 2 working days notice
- Production: 5 working days notice
Additionally, the Genomics England Forward Schedule of Change provides a forward schedule of change.
